On the 2nd of January 1998 I attended a wedding. It was for Amanda Gaden and Jeff Page.

I had never met the Bride or Groom before.

Well sort of.

I had been friends with bride for quite awhile. Through the internet.

I had met Amanda one night on Powwow. We discovered that we had somethings in common and added each other to our ICQ contact lists.

Amanda and Jeff had had an internet romance. As I met my hubby on the internet I can relate well to this. Just becareful who you email and tell them you like there webpage. You might end up married like these two did. *G*

Jeff was from New York, America (like you didn't know where that was). Amanda was from Canberra in Australia.

Before the wedding I had only had one chance to met Amanda and Jeff but I was unable to go to the party they had invited me to.

I had a good time at the wedding.

Amanda was a beautiful bride. Oh and Jeff looked OK as well :)

Afterwards we went to the reception at a Chinese restuarant.

It was a wonderful night and a great meal.

Below are some pictures from the day.

Oh and a note to Amanda and Jeff, I am not taking these pics down. They are here to stay.

And for all those people that want to find out more about Amanda and Jeff check out Amanda's Precipice and read her journal.

Amanda and Jeff after the service. Incase you can't work it out, Amanda is the one in the red dress with the the flowers. A lovely colour for a wedding dress.

This is Amanda at the reception. She held up well under the pressure and everything.

This is me. Waiting (patiently) to organise a time to get together with Amanda and Jeff after the honeymoon. It took two weeks but we did get together. We didn't even pick on Jeff for being an Americian. Well not much.

Those of you who have read the rest of this journal should know this is Stephi. The guy is her boyfriend Chris. Personally I think she is looking at him wondering what she is doing with him. (JOKE JOKE). Like most people in love she is lookig at him wondering why she loves him so much. I know I do that with my hubby all the time. "How do I love thee?? Let me count the ways."

Another picture of Stephi and Chris. If it wasn't for the stupid pose Chris is in and the flash it would have been a good shot.

Stephi and Chris again. Making up after another fight. LOL

This Sam. Amanda's sister. Sam was the Matron of Honour. Whoops, sorry, Chief Bridesmaid. She seemed to think that Matron of Honour made her feel old and frumpy. I would have to disagree. I don't think anything could do that. She is just wonderful. Hi Sam. (Message to Sam; This is staying, you are luckly I didn't put your email address here as well)
