Dean (R) Koontz is my favourite author.
I first started reading his books when working in the Port Augusta Public Library.
A friend of mine recommended that I read one of his books. "Watchers"
I enjoyed it. It was the best book I had read in a very long time.
I dont recall sleeping much until I had finished it.
I then read "Twilight Eyes".  Another great book.  However Mr Koontz if you would not mind completing the story I would be very greatful.  "but it was not the year that our secret war with the goblins ended."  Oh very funny Mr Koontz.  Leave the people begging for more.
I think the next book I tried to read was "Darkness Comes" I never finished it.  I just could not get into it.  I was able to read it at a later date and I did enjoy it.
One of the more interesting of his books was "Lightning".  A great story about time travel.  With a most interesting twist.  I remember reading it thinking "Huh, Huh, Umm, Umm, Err, Err, Ok, Ok.  KEEP READING"
The pride and joy of my collection is a copy of "Demon Seed"  The original story.  Why is it my pride and joy.  because it was out of print when I found it in a second hand book shop for $2.  That and the fact that my best friend, who I got reading Koontz, didnt have a copy.  However she got me back.  Not only did she eventually find a copy but it was in better condition then mine.  Now she has fun making fun of me about that.  grrrrrr.
I am currently reading the new version of "Demon Seed" and am enjoying it.
My recommendations are ALL of the books writen by Dean (R) Koontz. (I read Sole Survivor very quickly, torturing myself by only reading it on the train to and from work however most of his books I have read in one night)
My requests:
I want a copy of Oddkins.  The only copy of it I have seen in Australia is owned by the Port Augusta Public Library.
Anyother books that you feel like giving away.  :)
